Jim Bachman earned a Bachelor of Arts in music from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He studied classical guitar with Bob Perrine, Matthew Greif; guitar and lute with Craig Russell; and jazz guitar with Ted Greene, Bruce Forman and Reid Alburger. He has performed in master classes with Scott Tennant, Alex de Grassi, Dusan Bogdanovic, Christopher Parkening and Jeff Linsky.
