Keith Waibel earned a Bachelor of Arts in music from CSU Long Beach. He holds a secondary teaching credential from UC Riverside. He is a member of the San Luis Obispo Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, County Band, and the Trio Con Brio Chamber Ensemble. Waibel previously taught high school music and taught and conducted at UC Riverside, University of Redlands and College of the Desert.
