Post-graduate Performance Diploma from Juilliard School
of Music. Studied with Oscar Shumbly. Taught at UCLA
and CSU Northridge, as well as teaching privately. Involved
with music groups and festival abroad and in the United
States, including Aspen Music Festival, Oregon Bach
Festival, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, the Angeles
Quartet, and Bach Sommer-Akademie in Stuttgart, Germany.
A freelance musician for television and motion picture
studios. Recorded with various music labels, including
Nonesuch and Angel. As a member of the Angeles Quartet,
was the winner of a Grammy Award for best chamber music,
for their 21-CD set of Joseph Haydn’s 68 string
quartets.
