Specialist in music of the early Classic Period, including study of symphonic music in London during the late 18th century, funded by a Fulbright Commission Grant. Other recent projects include a survey of musical prodigies who were contemporaries of Mozart, a study of a London concert series organized by the two sons of the cofounder of Methodism, Charles Wesley, and an examination of the contributions of women concert organizers in 18th-century London.
Dr. McLamore has been involved with the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival for several years, giving Akademie lectures, pre-concert talks, and even running the supertitle machine for the opera. She has participated in the San Diego Mainly Mozart Festival, as well as moderating at the "Mozart's Music: Text and Context" Conference conducted by UCLA in 1992.
Dr. McLamore has also been a faculty member of Pasadena City College since 1983, where she is the Assistant Director for the Tournament of Roses Honor Band.
